Golf & Beach Base
About
A modern three-bedroom house on a quiet lane in the centre of Portrush, five minutes on foot from West Strand, the harbour and the restaurants. The long open-plan kitchen, dining and living room opens through sliding doors onto an enclosed courtyard with outdoor dining, parking for two cars and an EV charger. Upstairs: a king room, a double, a bunk room for up to four children and the main bathroom; a second shower room downstairs. Built for family beach weeks and golf trips.
Good to know
You come in through the entrance hall into one long open-plan room: kitchen at one end, a dining table that seats eight in the middle, and a corner sofa around the TV at the other, with polished concrete floors and sliding glass doors running the length of the room onto the courtyard. Off the kitchen, a laundry room with the washing machine leads through to the downstairs shower room. Upstairs are the three bedrooms and the main bathroom. WHO IT SUITS Families with children first: the bunk room, the enclosed courtyard and the beach within walking distance do the work. Golf groups of up to four adults second, with Royal Portrush five minutes away and secure parking for the cars. T he house sleeps eight, but the bunk room is for children, so the adult limit is four. WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP Bedroom 1: double bed, slatted wardrobe, blackout curtains. Bedroom 2: bunk room with two bunk beds, four single berths, for children only. Bedroom 3: king bed, wardrobe, blackout curtains. A travel cot is available on request. BATHROOMS Downstairs shower room: walk-in rainfall shower, toilet and basin, reached through the laundry room, so sandy feet and wetsuits never go upstairs. Upstairs bathroom: full bath, separate walk-in shower, toilet and basin. Towels, bed linen, hand soap and toilet paper are provided. The laundry room has the washing machine and space to dry beach things. KITCHEN AND LIVING Double oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, pod coffee machine and a full set of cookware, crockery and wine glasses. The dining table takes everyone at once, which is the point of the room. The sofa seats the whole group for the evening. OUTSIDE The courtyard is private and fully enclosed by a stone wall and timber fence, with an outdoor dining table and chairs, and space to park two cars off the street. There's an outdoor shower beside the courtyard door for rinsing sand off feet, boards and wetsuits before you come in. The EV charger is on the house wall; guests can charge for free during their stay. ARRIVING Self check-in by lockbox from 3pm. Your own entrance, nothing shared. The Nestled team is on message throughout your stay.
Other Details to Note
• The courtyard takes two cars. The access lane is narrow, so larger vehicles need care, and please don't block the lane for neighbours. • The house is on a working lane close to the town centre, so weekday mornings can bring some delivery traffic nearby. • The bunk room is for children only; the adult limit is four across the king and double rooms. • CCTV covers the outside area and lane for security. There are no cameras inside. • No pets, no parties or events, and please keep noise down in the courtyard after 10pm for the neighbours.

Neighborhood
Central Portrush, but tucked away on a lane rather than the main street, so it's quiet at night and everything is on foot. West Strand beach, the harbour and the Ramore restaurant complex are about five minutes' walk, the amusements and the town's cafés, pubs and shops are closer still, and East Strand is ten minutes. By car, Royal Portrush Golf Club is five minutes, Dunluce Castle ten, and Bushmills Distillery and the Giant's Causeway around fifteen along the Causeway Coastal Route. It suits families who want the beach without the car, and golfers who want somewhere to leave the clubs and walk to dinner.
