Our apartment in the centre of Portrush comes with a travel cot, Next-to-Me crib, high chair and bottle maker, so you pack for you rather than the nursery. The train station is a one-minute walk and West Strand beach five minutes on foot. Two double bedrooms on separate floors, one with a private walled terrace off it, plus open-plan living and kitchen, free street parking on a first-come basis and self check-in from 3pm.

This is a two-level duplex apartment in the middle of Portrush. Upstairs is the open-plan living room and kitchen with a dining table for four, plus a double bedroom with the private terrace off it. Downstairs, reached by an internal staircase, are the second double bedroom and the bathroom. WHO IT SUITS Young families first: everything a baby needs is already here, and the two bedrooms are on different floors, so a baby can be asleep downstairs while you're still up. It also works well for couples, and for groups of up to six using the sofa bed. WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP Bedroom 1 (downstairs): double bed, wardrobe rail. Bedroom 2 (upstairs): double bed, wardrobe rail, door to the terrace. Living room: double sofa bed for guests five and six, so with six of you the living room doubles as a bedroom at night. Travel cot, Next-to-Me crib for newborns and high chair are included at no extra cost. LIVING AND KITCHEN The living room has comfortable seating, a TV with a PS4 and controllers, and the dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, full cookware and crockery, plus a baby bottle maker. It's all open-plan, so you can cook while keeping an eye on the children. OUTSIDE Off Bedroom 2 is a private terrace, laid with artificial grass, with bistro seating for a morning coffee. It's enclosed rather than a viewpoint, which is what makes it safe for a toddler to potter about on and handy for drying sandy towels. BATHROOM AND LAUNDRY Bathroom with a walk-in shower enclosure, hairdryer and towels provided. There's no bath, so bring a baby bath if your little one needs one. There's a washing machine in the apartment, handy on longer stays. ARRIVING Self check-in by secure lockbox from 3pm. Street parking on Eglinton Court is free but shared with neighbours and first-come, first-served, so it can't be guaranteed. The Nestled team is available by message throughout your stay.
Other Details to Note
• The apartment is on two levels: living, kitchen and one bedroom upstairs, the second bedroom and the bathroom downstairs, with an internal staircase between them, worth knowing if anyone in your group has limited mobility. • Parking is free on the street, shared with neighbouring homes and first-come, first-served, so a space isn't guaranteed. There are public car parks in town if the street is full. • This is the centre of town, so expect some noise on busy summer weekends and during events such as the North West 200 in May. • Cot, crib and high chair are set up on request; let us know your baby's age when booking. • No pets, no parties or events & no smoking.

Central Portrush, a one-minute walk from the train station and about five minutes on foot to West Strand beach. East Strand is roughly a ten-minute walk, and the harbour and the Ramore restaurant complex are an easy stroll, with cafés, restaurants, pubs and shops all around the corner. For day trips, regular trains run to Coleraine, Ballymena and Belfast, while Royal Portrush Golf Club is about five minutes by car, Dunluce Castle ten, and Bushmills Distillery and the Giant's Causeway around fifteen. It suits families and small groups who want the beach, the town and the Causeway Coast without needing the car every day.
